Valio presents a new line of ready-seasoned cooking creams that add great taste to any dish! We produced together with SEK & GREY Finland the music to a series of cooking infomercials apptly named "it is easy to be a great cook" that are distributed via Youtube and the Valio site. We produced a new sound logo and brand music to match Silmäasema's new operation model which includes oculist services. The final output represents brightness, wellness and Silmäasema's slogan - "life is worth seeing".

We implemented a new version of Aino -music with JWT Helsinki. The result was a magical film where music and spell unites with visuals creating a captivating experience. New background music by our very own DJ Slow (Vellu Maurola) for the Kamppi shopping center was launched last week and the feeling of renewal and spring can be heard all over Kamppi!! There is also lots of new musical elements coming this year so stay tuned!

Composer Kim Kuusi was elected as the new chairman of the board of Teosto Ry on wednesday 13th of April 2011 in the Teosto Spring meeting. The decicion was unanimous and in the meeting 149 members of the association where present.

What is Teosto?
The Finnish Composers' Copyright Society Teosto is the copyright organization for composers, lyric writers, arrangers and music publishers. It has more than 25,000 music author and publisher members and, additionally, it represents some two million rightholders around the world. Teosto provides licensing products for performing and reproducing music that meets the needs of music using customers, and distributes the royalties to the rightholders - the music authors. Teosto also promotes the diversity of creative composing. In 2009, domestic sales revenue amounted to EUR 41 million, of which, after deducting expenses, EUR 35.2 million (86.5%) was distributed to music authors and publishers, and used for the promotion of Finnish music.

Finland’s leading healthcare service company Terveystalo needed to find their distinctive sound that would resonate with their company´s values: expertise and caring. As Terveystalo offers comprehensive healthcare, occupational healthcare and hospital services to private individuals companies, insurance companies and the public sector through our more than 100 units across Finland, they needed a sound logo that would introduce them to their potential clients in TV and radio advertising and set them apart from the competition. As a result a sound logo was created with a a spoken section and a "healing" sound that included a real human heartbeat. The sound logo was then made into an extended version to be used as the waiting music at their call center and in different versions in the ads.

FirmaRock is a yearly competition for company bands that dream of taking the stage without quitting the day job, many of the bands are actually well supported by their companies, and rumors have been circulating that some companies actually ask if the applicant plays and instrument when hiring. The grand finale of FirmaRock 2010 was a fantastic battle of the bands and the quality of performances was high.
Our partner and composer Kim Kuusi was one of the judges at the final and after some very in-depth discussion BearingPoint´s The Project Springrolls was chosen as the ultimate winner. “ Driven by Sound” – the motto of the Audio Branding Congress held in Hamburg on November 5th, 2010 attracted international branding and sound experts to Hamburg and made the city a temporary hub for brand sound and audio branding. The Audio Branding Academy conducted a study in September 2010 with an aim to deliver valid and comparable market data for the Audio Branding industry. Agencies from 13 countries had participated in the 2010 study .92, 3% of the respondents predicted a rise in demand for acoustic branding for the year 2011. Sounds good to us!
